The Sprint Adapted Bathing Suit is made of a chlorine resistant blend of 45% polyester and 55% PBT yarns, which provides a superior stretch. The fabric retains it's shape, even after many uses. It's quick drying and does not degrade like other suits. The superior Velcro closures are made specifically for use in the water. The Stylish design has a conservative leg cut, wide straps, and cross over bodice panels.
Testimonials:
Barbara has Parkinson's disease. Prior to using the Adapted Bathing Suit, she needed a caretaker to help change in and out of her bathing suit. Now, she can attend aquatic classes alone and change independently, which gives her a sense of accomplishment.
Joan enjoyed her water walking class, but didn't like the struggle of putting on and off her suit, and the straps kept falling down during class. With the Adapted Bathing Suit (patent pending) her problems were solved and she feels very stylish.
Diana with fibromyalgia participates in aquatic exercise classes. Initially, she attended only one class a week due to fatigue from traveling to the facility, changing into her suit, exercise and then redressing. By using the Adapted Bathing Suit she can attend classes 3 times a week.
Karolyn is a 13 year old with hemiplegia which resulted from a stroke. She has limited use of her right arm and has difficulty to put on a traditional swim suit. The Adapted Bathing Suit allows her to position her arms without causing pain. Once her arms are through the armholes, she's able to manipulate the closures with one hand. She now can get ready for an aquatic therapy session without her mothers assistance.
